It seems like they might have agreed to this willingly. If their faction loses...then their worlds may be in jeopardy. The same may be for us.
I do not quite know. I don't think they wouldn't lie about such a thing, but one would wonder if the statement itself was a lie specially delivered to them to comply.
But if we take it as true...then whoever wins gets to keep their worlds, the others do not.

Obviously a third option would be ideal, but that is trading on the assumption that such thing exists. In the event it does not, I simply wish for things to be clear.
