It would be wrong to say that you haven't done wrong. One must make amends, you know. But to become some gothic shade in the corners of a room is no way to fix a single thing, you must realize that. Wallowing is not a good look for you, Lord Van Zieks.

[The obvious retaliation is to kiss him properly but that's also clearly what Sholmes wants and he Shall Not Win, so instead he uses his superior size to pull Sholmes off balance and push him to the ground, whereupon he plants his foot on the older man's chest.]

[He weighs his options for a moment. The elects to drop down, shifting his pin on Sholmes from his foot to his hand, as he looms over the detective, perched on his knees.]

If you were looking to make me submit you've done a poor job of it, Sholmes.

[Hey so, his hands are totally 100% free here! How about that! It's something to note because he's not giving any warning before he reaches up to grab Van Zieks by the front of his clothes to pull him in to plant a kiss directly on his lips.]

[To be honest, he did sort of expect something like this to happen. He wouldn't admit that, of course, because it would imply he sought it out. That he wanted Sholmes to do it. And for a variety of reasons he refuses that premise.

But now that he's here, well... Wasn't he supposed to loosen up? So he kisses back, reveling in the sensation, the warm wetness, the smell of another body. He might bite, lightly, at Sholmes' bottom lip, his free arm adjusting to rest on his elbow so he can knock the deerstalker off the mans head and grab a fistful of that fair hair.]

[He'd probably bark out some complaint of Van Zieks being rough, but his mouth is too preoccupied with, well, the kiss. The man definitely is eager, that's for sure, but unfortunately he's too stubborn to back down.]

[He's shifting a hand to the nape of the man's neck, keeping him where he is.]

But that's just fine, he doesn't plan on moving any time soon, though after a few more moments, he does have to break the kiss just so he can breathe, hot breath on skin, face flushed, before sinking back to press further kisses along the arc of his jaw, and then settling down onto his neck.

[Caitie I hate you for this. But its what Sholmes deserves! S(HO)LMES INDEED. He gasps, wincing in pain - in any other case he'd pull away, but here, the confusing conflicting thoughts of rational thought and irrational curse feelings are mixing, and Sholmes is almost shocked at how much he likes it, tangling his fingers in the other's hair for a slight yank for his trouble.]

[Yeah and have fun explaining this to your other boyfriend. Anyway van Zieks lets out a hiss at the the hair pulling, but in a way that it's more a reflexive response rather than displeasure. In fact, the way his back arches suggests it's Definitely not displeasure.

He's still got his head lowered near Sholmes, but he pauses in his attack a moment;]

Given how you've taken to calling me one I had hazarded that was something you were interested in.

You know I meant bloodsucking in a more literal sense. For the humor of it.

[Van Zieks hums low and soft against Sholmes' neck. Congrats you fucking unlocked something in him by forcing him out of his rigid comfort zone and now he's become some sort of sexy vampire menace.]

[His hand tugs at Van Ziek's hair again as he tries to find an answer, almost pouting.]

He makes another soft noise at the hair pull.]

Hmm... well I can't go giving you ammunition to be telling the others, can I?
[He will nip again at the soft skin of Sholmes' neck, though, obligingly. Just not enough to break the skin.]
