The heart wants what it wants. Even if its irrational. Especially if its so. [...] I simply just want to protect the ones I love with every inch of my being.
Not organized, but it wouldn't be as disorganized as "we don't care who particularly dies, just send everyone into a weekly battle and hope for the best" sort of thing, don't you think?
I don't know if I interpreted the symbols completely correct. But the bread symbol could mean either nourishment or sacrifices. When I suggested nourishment the Watcher who was with me said that didn't make sense.
Angels are made of Dust, correct? They likely can't just kill us. So they make all of kill each other, to collect the Dust to keep themselves surviving...? But it has to be done on a weekly basis...
[He thinks for a moment, before pulling out a paper from his satchel.]
[He hands it over.]
[It reads:]
[Therefore, we have no choice but to believe that the presence of this "Dust" is naught but evidence for the original sin that caused humanity to stray from the path of light. If it is at all possible to find our way back, the secret must lie in this Dust, and how to eradicate it. Una ecclesia super omnibus]
The last one is..."one ecclesia above all". Ecclesia being...a sort of community. Christianity can be considered an ecclesia.
[Nero can read all of this without an issue. But he does appreciate a second opinion about it.]
The original sin... that's Allen's story about the Garden and free will, right? I think there was somethin' about eradicating "gold" in a note in Camebit too.

[A sigh.]

[It's not like he threw Kotetsu in prison or something.]
It's just... Hard here.

It is. Anyone could be at risk. There seems to be little rhyme or reason for any of the ones who perish, every week.

The people who kill are being manipulated too. Either side seems randomized.

The war needs "sacrifices" accordin' to one of my first week questions.

Sacrifices suggests rituals. It would make sense with that. The more Dust accumulated...
no subject
Then... what's the ritual?

[ He's pretty sure he's never seen a fish as a symbol. ]
They're made completely of Dust. I think that was in a note somewhere.

[Hmmmmmm. NO JESUS FISH]
...Actually. Has anyone asked if the dead have daemons?

[........]
We didn't see 'em durin' the masquerade.
[What happened to them?]

Remember, they did say that on Alisaie and Van Ziek's adventure, that Lord Regent attempted to attack Alisaie's daemon....

[He hums.]
Mankind sins, and...therefore Dust is created? It seems rather confounding,
no subject
[Does that even make sense?]
'nd somebody wants to get rid of it to go... back to the garden?
