[Well, this sure is a maze! A beautiful maze, bio-luminescent and overgrown, and angel statues littering the pathways. If Akira walks by one of said statues, however, he might see a certain detective sitting on one of its wings.]
[ Akira's sense of direction isn't awful, but he's gotten lost in a bunch of places cause sometimes spirits play awful tricks you. He might not have seen Sherlock (or he might not have bothered to acknowledge him) if the detective hadn't called out to him. ]
What an impressive deduction. [ He's grumpy because guess who's lost too. ]
[Here's Sholmes, trying to gingerly walk through a field of shards. This is. Probably going to end up in disaster. His daemon, Irene, in hare form on his shoulder, looks...anxious.]
Oh, don't mind me. [He's waving!] I can't say why there's so many here!
[ Nagako is padding carefully behind him because Akira has kind of learned having a daemon who slithers on the ground when there's a million glass shards on it is bad for surprisingly not obvious reasons. ]
It's like someone fucking threw out an entire store of mirrors. [ He chooses to see how Sholmes is going to navigate the field first and follow in his footsteps where surely nothing can go wrong. ]
[ Akira's seen a lot this week, but this may be the first time he's seen a memory like this. It's an entirely new experience for him and it catches him off-guard, the warm emotions mixed with sadness and ah, the baby. ]
...sorry. [ He looks off himself into the distance, Nagako coming closer to sit right by him. ]
I didn't know you two were like that. [ He doesn't address the other person, the other man, because that might just hit a little too close to home. ]
[This is probably sometime after they all woke up in the houses - anyways, he's here after he's obviously had a bath. He's dressed in his clothes, but he's dabbing at his hair with a towel, turning back towards Akira.]
Ah, good day. Have you yet gone to explore, my dear fellow?
Yeah, I was the champion of the UG a while ago but I quit before all of this. Probably a good thing I did, cause someone would have taken the title from me anyway by now. Fighting's straightforward, and I enjoy it.
I can't say mysteries are simple, but maybe you get it? When shit gets complicated, sticking to what you're used to helps.
[Wherever Akira is, Sholmes is, Irene hopping behind him. He's brought him a bottle of water to drink - he was planning tea, but Akira doesn't seem like the tea, type.]
week 1 day 1
[He gives a cheerful wave over to the other.]
I do say, I am quite lost!
[And yet here he is, vibing.]

What an impressive deduction. [ He's grumpy because guess who's lost too. ]
no subject
[But he's moving to jump down from the statue, Irene in crow form flapping down to perch on his shoulder.]
I do say you are quite lost, as well. It is ever so obvious.
no subject
Thanks, I wouldn't have realized that without you. [ He looks at the crow, Nagako trotting in closer in wolf form, to where they're standing. ]
Can't your bird just see which way is out?
no subject
Mm, she can see a bit at a time...she can't fly too far, you know. It makes one feel most uncomfortable!

SLAPS BACK INTO HERE SORRY FOR THE WAIT
[A trap.]
[He steps on a shard, and a series of memories plays.]
[He stands, distant.]
its ok! <3
...sorry. [ He looks off himself into the distance, Nagako coming closer to sit right by him. ]

[He just closes his eyes for a moment, and then huffs, shaking his head - as if he's shaking off a cloud of smog.]
It's quite alright. The past is the past. I still stay in touch, but...
[Well. Things aren't like they were before.]

week 3 day 1
Ah, good day. Have you yet gone to explore, my dear fellow?
no subject
Not yet. You feeling up to it after Saturday?
no subject
[A smile.]
It's certainly a wide step away from an ocean world, yes?
no subject
[ Gross. ]
I ain't gonna stop you, but did you really fall out of a tree?
no subject
Most assuredly, I did! It was terrible. Don't recommend the experience.

week 5 post trial
Ah. [...] Are you planning on eating?
no subject
A guy's gotta eat, right? [ He tilts his head at Sholmes, looking him up and down to gauge his mood considering everything. ]
no subject
[Eating is a thing! And...he's got circles under his eyes, and he's just...exhausted overall. Like the wind has been knocked out of him.]
What was that you said, earlier? That you were in a championship? I guess a fighter...has to keep himself fed. That's important.

week 6 day 5
[He looks at him, concerned.]
Are you feeling better?
no subject
I killed a bunch of people. [ Akira that is not an answer. ]
no subject
[That's...........bad.]
[He frowns.]
Where were you all?

[He grits his teeth.]
I heard it was...the Magisterium who behind it all. Did they say...why they were doing any of that?
