I volunteered with the intention of spoiling the "fun" and conducting a proper investigation, cooperating fully with the detective from the 41st.
He didn't always make it easy, with his bizarre investigative techniques... but he is a damn good detective. I don't think I could have solved the case without him.

Yes... in many ways, it was. It's rare for a case so complex to get solved, much less as thoroughly and satisfyingly as it was... and with so many "side-cases," too.
...She only found out just recently about it. Mikotoba has never really discussed the matter of our partnership with her, himself. He's been a devoted father to her for all these years since he returned home. We stay in touch on a fairly regular basis, regardless.
